Biographical sketch

Robert Nisticò received a degree in Medicine and Surgery and specialization in psychiatry from the  University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He later worked as postdoctoral researcher at the MRC Centre for Synaptic Plasticity in Bristol, UK. He is currently Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

He is member of the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Pharmacology, Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience, NeuroMolecular Medicine.

Robert Nisticò is author and co-author of almost 100 papers in international “peer-reviewed” scientific journals, and has been awarded fellowships, such as the “Marie Curie Fellowship” and invited as Honorary Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham (UK).
