dedicated to Stephen D. Skaper, presented by SINS member at the 18th National Congress of the Italian Society for Neuroscience that took place in Perugia on September 26-29, 2019.
The poster presented by Dr. Griguoli (co-authors Brijesh Modi, Domenico Pimpinella, Antonio Pazienti and Enrico Cherubini) entitled
“Altered CCK-mediated perisomatic inhibition and network oscillations in the CA2 region of the neuroligin 3 knock-out mouse, an animal model of Autism"
illustrates synaptic alterations in a specific inhibitory neuronal subtype (CCK-positive interneurons) that lead to dysfunctions in hippocampal neuronal circuits involved in social behaviour in a model of autism.
